Mirror World is stirring, about to embrace the new global changes of its map.

Everyone is getting ready to colonize No-Man's Lands. The strongest clans send their best fighters on recon missions, impatient to make stakes for the juiciest locations.

Market prices have taken to the sky like flocks of scared pigeons. New alliances are struck while mercenaries upgrade their armor and grind edges on their swords. Their time is looming.

A war is coming to Mirror World.

Olgerd, too, is getting ready, a new goal already in his sights. The ancient Ennan City awaits him.

All he needs to do now is gain some strength.

The Way of the Outcast Mirror World Book 3 (Audible Audio Edition) Alexey Osadchuk Kyle McCarley Tantor Audio Books

Good Translated work here. It is always very nice to read authors that represent different cultural backgrounds. I will be honest, and believe I mentioned this in the first book of the series, but some of my favorite reads are when I have doubts about the subject matter of specific books or series. After all, how exciting can a book series be about a guy that is a miner?

Alexey Osadchuk presents a very well written and translated work. What is a bit a-typical about this series to me is that the author has a very thorough development of the character. Where you might see all of this condensed into one book that is a fraction of the content, Alexey Osadchuk seems to be carefully crafting a well orchestrated series and world. I would like to see the complexity of the series grow, but am sure I will enjoy the reads regardless.

The Way of the Outcast Mirror World Book 3 (Audible Audio Edition) Alexey Osadchuk Kyle McCarley Tantor Audio Books Reviews

I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys good fantasy. Excellent story, contained within a believable back story with danger, intrigue, surprise turns, love of wife and family, no swearing or sex; this is a story that you can read to your kids if you want, though there is violence and ill intent is some of the characters. I just recently found the LitRPG genre and I urge you to try it out.
I've read all three books and each is better than the previous installment. This author loves to take you for a ride and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was fast paced without skipping out on the details that allow you to immerse yourself in the world he has created. I pre-ordered this book a couple of months ago and devoured it in one evening. Alexey Osadchuck has more books out in Russian and I can't wait for them to be translated!
I really love this series. A new perspective on the RPG genre, and fantasy at large. I found it 6 weeks ago and have been through it 3 volumes as I write this, 4 times so far. The bummer the audio book to volume 3 isn't out yet, Get off the dime guys, this guys got a hit on his hands the audio should come out the same day as the written edition. The series narrator to date has it nailed too. this 3rd book is a transition, of the three its the weakest, but still of great value and insight to the story line and needed to bridge to the next main plot course. Olgerd is great, if the books were 200 pages longer each, and came out about once a week, this reader would get much less sleep and be a happier person!
Cons There is to much foreshadowing for my tastes. All the plot developments are quite plain; on the occasion that they are not, it is because they are not mentioned until after the fact. In my opinion, this book leans more toward a fantasy genre than a LitRPG one.

Pro The plot progression is done in a believable way, while not boring the reader.

All in all, this book has the feel of train ride stuck on it rails. Should the main character get to the engine room they might have control over the pace, but the path and destination are predetermined.
I've had this book for a few years, and it is okay. It's not translated very well, and every single character is the same constantly-scheming person, so the characterization is not great. I'd give the book about a 3/5. However, it was recently updated. So far I have found one three-page ad for another book, located at the start of chapter two. There may be others. I do not buy books with the expectation of commercial breaks in the text, so sleazy practices like this mean I would not buy it today.
First off I really like this series.
I liked this book. I think it continued the story well, but just seemed too short.

Would I recommend this book to a friend? Yes Definitely.
Would I read this again in the future? Yes Definitely.
Would I pre-order the next book without waiting for reviews? maybe, due to shortness. Seems to be a trend with some authors to do serial rather than books.
Readability- 4.5. Well written. Good to excellent word usage. Good wordsmithing. Characters come alive.
Editing 4.5 stars. Very few grammar/editing errors.
Intended audience Young adult to adult.
Worth the price? yes $3.99 to $5.99 range.

Good Continuation, just a little short.Looking forward to the Authors next book..
Finally we get to see the game from the actual gamer's perspective ;) Starting as a classed character Olgerd has to relearn many things while keeping a low profile. Of course, neither is easy. What keeps you alife as a grinder, does not work that well as a regular player especially not when you have to acquire levels as quickly as possible. Which is certainly one of the good points, Olgerd's mistakes are very believable even though I as a gamer groan at some of them. I am very curious though what the gaming companies aims are though... Making the game fun for Olgert is definitely not it.

PvP takes a prominent role in the book, and I am curious how theft of goods is considered just part of a game with no consequences (not even some kind of in game police) even though items generate very real real money and to such an extent that there is a sizable group of people making a living by playing. Can you still call it just a game when people loose several thousends of very real dollars by in game theft (not to mention hours of wasted play time)? Mind you, it serves a good role for the story, just not for the game. Just as with the previous parts it is very much about the single individual against the insanely rich and influential with their faceless goons.

Liked the book and curious about part 4.
